How to use the contactless vending machine payment mode?

There is a QR code sticker that can be placed on the machines which can be used to make payments.

You just scan the code, select the product, enter your pin and make the payment and collect your product. 

Daalchinin has added a pedal to the product vent to make the process entirely contactless. It is that easy!

There are other modes available as well like the NFC card reader-based method. Daalchini stepped up and introduced contactless vending machines in India.

 

Daalchini and Smart, Contactless Vending machines in India

June 2020, after the first lockdown, when the offices had started opening up, and by September offices opened up at 50% capacity and people were extremely cautious to avoid any infections.

Daalchini leveraged its mobile App to build a 100% contactless consumer experience.

The consumers placed orders via our Android/iOS App and for pickup they scanned a QR code pasted on the machine, initiating the scan from within the app’s order screen. 

Earlier, the consumer received a 4-digit pickup code which they had to enter on the tablet’s touch screen. 

For the finishing touches, we added a foot-operated mechanical peddle to open the food delivery pocket.

Earlier, the user had to push open the delivery pocket but not anymore!

As a brand, Daalchini empathized with users’ fear of infection and wanted to make sure users were 100% safe while using the Daalchini vending machines.

Daalchini’s main user base is office employees, the employees had a common touchpoint for using Daalchini i.e the vending machine tablet’s screen.

We launched the feature in Nov-2020 and within 4 months 37% of app transactions were via contactless pickup!

We have installed 100+ contactless VMs in Various Manufacturing plants and industries like Reliance, Vivo, LG, Samsung, etc. converting their pantries into contactless stores using Daalchini’s contactless Vending Machines. 

It gave us a boost. The number of queries and clients increased as well!

We launched in 6+ new cities and it eventually instilled confidence in people regarding Daalchini Vending machines.

More and more vendors also started investing in vending machines after seeing their success and growing popularity.
