Naturals was established in 1984 by Raghunandan Srinivas Kamath who combined his mother\u2019s hacks and father\u2019s expertise in fruits to commence one of India\u2019s leading ice cream brands which steps away from the artificial flavors and preservatives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Raghunandan used to sell pav bhaji alongside natural ice cream in Mumbai. He was always attentive to the needs of the population, which in his case demanded every meal to end on a sweet note (with a dessert).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He observed this demand while working at his brother\u2019s south indian eatery.<\/span><\/p>\n

His very effortless but smart idea of providing something sweet after a spicy and hot dish worked wonders, and he was able to make a revenue of INR 5,00,000 in the first year from his small 200 sq. ft. shop.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A year later he quit selling pav bhaji and invested all his time and business in the sale of natural ice creams. His tiny and modest eatery with around 6 tables was now only offering 5 flavors of ice cream- kaju draksh (cashew raisin), chocolate, strawberry, mango and sitaphal (custard apple).<\/span><\/p>\n

By 2021, Raghunandan\u2019s tiny 200 sq. ft. eatery had evolved into a network of 135 ice cream parlors in various settings, offering around 20 flavors at a given time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
